The Hunger Fund
The "Imagine There's No Hunger" fund was started by the Hard Rock Cafe and Yoko Ono after John Lennon's death. They sell bracelets and pins, and all profits benefit WHY (World Hunger Year) which is trying to fight the cause of hunger and poverty. They do this by supporting other organizations that help people get their lives back on track.
The merchandise that they sell is based on the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. All of the things that they sell include the words "Imagine there's no hunger", John Lennon's signature, and the Hard Rock Cafe symbol. One pin is a peace sign and a self portrait of John Lennon and the other pin is his glasses. The glasses pin is $12 and the peace pin is $14. Both are available at the Hard Rock Cafe store.
Another thing that is being sold to support WHY is the SERVE4 digital album, which is an album made up of many different songs from many different artists. One song on the album is John Lennon's song "Gimmie Some Truth". The album is being sold for $12 or 99 cents a track.
