The Beatles (A very brief look into the beginning)

Most people today know about the Beatles. They were a famous rock group from London that was considered the greatest band ever. They swept the nation with a new type of music. As people grew to love them, Beatlemania started. (kind of like Bieber Fever) The people that made up the Beatles were George Harrsion, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and Paul McCartney. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive today. But what started this band and how did it eventually reach a huge level of fame?
The group was started when John Lennon was seventeen. He called it the Black Jacks which quickly changed to The Quarrymen. They did small performances and one day they were doing a performance in a church when the Black Jacks met Paul McCartney, who was fifteen at the time. He auditioned for The Quarrymen and got in. Paul introduced George to John, and soon George joined the band too. They kept doing performances until the band broke up in 1959. Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison stayed in the music industry until they decided to get back together and record more songs. They signed a contract with the Liverpool's Cashbah Coffee Club and met their fourth member, Pete Best. They auditioned for Parlophone Records and got a manager named George Martin, who told them that they had to get rid of Best and hire Ringo Starr. They did, and they began to record songs. Their first single, Love Me Do, topped the charts and soon after, Beatlemania hit Britain and the United States. This is where the Beatles started and their careers took off from there.
